The Interior Life Seminar

Ten Fridays meeting weekly, 1:00 – 3:00 pm

September 20 – November 22, 2019

The Interior Life Seminar is a reading and discussion group using resources from philosophy, religion, poetry, and psychology. While the readings may be familiar to participants, the methodology is unique: how can we use the principles, life models and stories to apply fruitfully in our everyday lives?

The Interior Life Seminar is an individual inquiry done in the company of others. We will explore values, methods, and contexts for living as we ponder questions such as:

  • What is the best life I can live?

  • What is worth living and dying for?

  • What are my highest values? My strongest values?

  • How can I live and die without regret?

This seminar will engage participants in a vibrant inquiry into perspectives that can challenge and enrich our experience of daily living.
