Presented by Celia Landman
Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh reminds us that we need to nourish our joy to keep it alive. A reserve of joy helps steady us when we encounter the difficult and unpleasant in our lives. Please join the local sangha as we spend the day slowing down and cultivating what creates joy. We will have sitting and walking meditation, mindful eating and a dharma talk. There will be an opportunity to listen to others and to be heard.
Please bring outdoor walking clothes as we will be outdoors weather permitting. Please also bring cushions, kneelers, or blankets needed for meditation.
$60 includes vegetarian lunch
The health and safety of our guests and staff are of paramount importance to us. We follow the COVID-19 guidelines provided by the State of Connecticut and the CDC. If Wisdom House is forced to close to comply with the guidelines issued by the State of Connecticut or the CDC, we will return all funds received to date.
