Maureen O’Brien, M.A., is a published novelist, an award-winning poet, and the author of the spiritual memoirs “What Was Lost: Seeking Refuge in the Psalms” and “Gather the Fragments: My Year of Finding God’s Love”(both from Franciscan Media). She’s been teaching over 30 years and has been deeply inspired by pilgrimages to Italy. The contrasts of life—sunrise and dusk, crying and laughter--never cease to amaze her.
