Karen DeVille is a highly skilled registered physical therapist (CT License #003255) with over 35 years of experience. Karen did her Honors Thesis on Endorphins. She is also an EMT and Reiki Master.
Early in her career, having an experience that changed both her patient’s life and the trajectory of her career, Karen found she was adeptly intuiting and practicing manual approaches. Karen had developed a sophisticated ability to positively affect anatomy and physiology and improve health. When we come to understand that matter and energy are related, representations of each other, and accept this, then we realize we have a powerful basis of influence. Karen’s treatment approach appreciates this, the physical-energetic relationship, and as such she regularly achieves superior outcomes even in very complex cases.
Karen has worked in a variety of settings and continues to pursue manual therapy specialties. With the understanding that the current insurance system limits the scope of treatment and the client’s potential for recovery, Karen developed an independent practice alternative Beyond Physical Therapy.
Karen DeVille’s Beyond Physical Therapy is a practice that offers a unique, gentle, integrative manual therapy approach that is foundational, profound, and effectively lends itself to treat a variety of conditions and dysfunctions; it is an approach that honors you: your body, its history and its design.
