Navigating the Murky Waters of Communication - A Four Session Series

  • Wisdom House Retreat & Conference Center 229 East Litchfield Road Litchfield, CT, 06759 United States (map)

Presented by Rev. Dr. Eileen Epperson

Communication is challenging. We often do not have language for what we want to say and we don’t know what the other person is hearing. Sometimes, we think we don’t have to say something because we assume the other person knows, but he/she doesn’t. The four sessions in this series will be highly interactive and will explore these areas of communication:

1. Introductions and creating community; the Five Key Tasks for effective, authentic conversation.

2. Making our wishes known, making requests, getting our needs met…and being heard.

3. Expressing disagreement, hurt, disappointment, anger…and being heard.

4. Creating new possibilities in conversation; stepping outside of what is expected or predictable…and being heard.

It will be most beneficial to register for all four sessions to insure you have a spot. Each session will build on the one before; however, any of the individual sessions will be valuable. The only exception is that you may NOT attend only the final session.

COST | $65 per session, LUNCH INCLUDED

If you would like to attend all four sessions and pay for the entire class at once ($260) please call our office at 860-567-3163.
