Join us for this weekend retreat, where we carve out time to settle the mind and nervous system and relax into the comfort and beauty of the Wisdom House. This restorative retreat includes a thoughtful balance of compassion and mindfulness practices, expressive writing, gentle stretching, Tibetan Yoga, small creative projects, and time for independent reflection. All exercises, practices and activities are offerings. Take what you like, and leave feeling deeply relaxed and refreshed.

Julie Rumrill, MS, MBSR, is a local author, writing coach, faculty member and professional consultant originally from the quiet corner of Connecticut. She is a registered yoga teacher and certified instructor of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). Julie has 20 years of experience with contemplative practices and her formal education was deepened through volunteer work and trainings in Indonesia, India, and Guatemala. She has led retreats and mindfulness sessions for the U.S. Coast Guard, corporate entities, non-profits, academia, first responders, and of course – Wisdom House.
